Naomi, the 2-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Clinghan, residing along the Carlisle pike, near town, met with an accident on Monday which might have proven serious. Mr. Clinghan is a fireman on the W. M. R. R., and in answering the call box this morning opened the window on the second floor of his house. In leaving the room the window was left open and the young child later in the morning went to the window and in peering about was overbalanced and fell to a boardwalk below. Dr. C. E. Bortner was immediately summoned, who, after examination of the child, found that no bones were broken and further than receiving a slight injury to the spinal column, the child was none the worse for the fall.
