Handwritten "Nov. 5, 1948" on announcement

Wrightsville, Nov 5 - Jacob FISHEL, South Front street, was tendered a birthday 
part on Sunday in observance of his 80th anniversary. He was the recipient of 
many useful gifts and a birthday cake with the appropriate number of lighted 
candles. Those present were Jacob FISHEL, Mrs. and Mrs. James FISHEL and son, 
Donald, Roy FISHEL, Wrightsville; Mr. and Mrs. Albert EVELER, daughter Charlotte 
and son Raymond, Mr. and Mrs. Miles EVELER and daughter Mary Ann; Mr. and Mrs. 
Walter EVELER, Mr. and Mrs. Tom BOYD and daughters, Romaine and Janet; Mervin 
HAUGH, all of Laurel; Mr. and Mrs. George E. RENOLL, daughters Ada Mae and sons 
George, Jr., Edward and Luther; Mr. and Mrs. Robert KLEINFELTER, Mrs. Emma 
SWEENEY, daughter Phillis and son, Richard; David GOOD, Miss Delores WEICHART, 
all of York, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond KOONTZ, Windsor, Earl NESS, York R. D. Other 
guests were Mrs. Phillip KING and daughter, Candia Lou, Barry RITZ and Joe 
SILTZER.
