George Celebrates 91st Birthday Anniversary The Record-Herald extends congratulations to Mrs. Ellen M. George, of Walnut Street, who celebrated the 91st anniversary of her birthday on Sunday, April 16. Among those who spent the day with her were her son Alfred George and grandson, William George, of Baltimore. Mrs. George is a daughter of the late Henry and Lydia (Swope) Shriver, of Littlestown, where she was born April 16, 1825. She has been a resident of Hanover for many years and a highly-respected citizen. She is a devout member of Emmanuel Reformed church. H. Q. Shriver, of Centennial Avenue, is a brother; Mrs. Edgar Slagle, of Abbottstown Street, and Mrs. Emma J. Guyer, of Walnut St., now visiting in Spokane, Washington, are sisters of Mrs. George.
