Reached 84th Milestone

Henry Gotwald, 111 Pleasant street, was given a birthday surprise party on 
Monday evening, in honor of the 84th anniversary of his birth.  The event was 
planned by his daughter, Mrs. Charles Matthias.  He was the recipient of a 
number of mementoes of the occasion.  A supper was served, and a pleasant time 
was had by the following who were present:  John Carbaugh, Mrs. John Greenholtz 
and two sons, Henry and Frank Gotwald, John Brenner, Mrs. Margaret Myers, Mr. 
and Mrs. Horatio Bortner.
