Timothy, Esq., of Brooklyn, N. Y., advising him of the death of an uncle, at that place, in whose estate he will share with other relatives. The uncle, Henry Washington Taylor, was the seventh son of the family, while Mr. Greenaway’s mother was the only daughter. He was born in the north of Ireland and engaged in the iron business in Scotland fifty years ago. After an active business career he moved to Brooklyn, N. Y., where he has lived retired for a number of years. Mr. Taylor, who died in May, was married to a Scotch woman who alone survives, there being no children. He had accumulated an immense fortune, which will be divided among the widow, the surviving brothers and sisters, or their children. According to the information Mr. Greenaway received his share of the fortune will range from $200,000 to $300,000. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, December 27, 1913
