MARINE MAKES GOOD Dennis Keever, of Hanover, Has Qualified As a Marksman. In an official bulletin issued by Headquarters, United States Marine Corps., Washington, appears the name of Dennis Keever, of this place, as having qualified as a marksman in that most interesting branch of the Government service. Dennis, who is a son of Mrs. Addie Keever, 315 Locust Street, enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at its Baltimore, Md., recruiting station on October 6, 1915, and is now serving as a guard at the U. S. Naval Magazine, Indian Head, Md., where he is having many interesting experiences. Considering the fact that Keever is scarcely more than a recruit, his performance in gunnery is looked upon by marine Corps officials as little short of marvelous, and they expect him to break many marksmanship records before his enlistment expires.
