GOLDEN WEDDING AT THE J. REACHARD HOME; WITH FAMILY DINNER
Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Reachard, 213 West King Street, entertained at a family 
dinner at their home yesterday in celebration of their golden wedding, which 
they observed on Saturday. Mrs. Reachard was Miss Eleanor Streavig, daughter 
of Mr. and Mrs. John Streavig, York township and Mr. Reachard was the son of 
Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Reachard, North Codorus township Mr. Reachard is 69.  They 
were married February 11, 1883, by Rev. Rinehart Smith, of the Salem Reformed 
church, Paradise township. There are five children, six grandchildren and two 
great-grandchildren.
     Dinner was served at 3 o'clock.  The table was decorated in a color 
scheme of gold and white with a large wedding cake with miniature bride and 
bridegroom and the numerals "50" in gold. Other decorations were bouquets of 
mixed flowers.
  Those attending were: Mrs and Mrs. William Wallace, Mr. and Mrs. Grant 
Hoofnagle and sons, Richard and Harold; Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Reachard and Mr. 
and Mrs. Horace Reachard. Another son, George Reachard, was unable to attend 
the celebration.  He is a wireless operator on the "S. S Vicksburg", on the 
Mississippi river.
