Anthony Weaver, the 18-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Weaver, of Poplar street extended, fell from a second story window Thursday, June 12, about 5 p.m., escaping without serious injury. The little fellow had followed his mother to a room on the second story and while she was combing her hair the child fell headforemost out the window. The child was picked up in an unconscious condition, and Dr. Geo. H. Jordy called, who, after an examination, found no bones broken and apparently no internal injuries. The child is about this morning and with the exception of a few bruises, seems to be none the worse for the experience. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, June 21, 1913
