Rev. Wehler Buys Newspaper

Rev. Dr. Chas. E. Wehler, formerly of this place, and brother of Messrs. H. G. and J. M. 
Wehler, who has been pastor of a large Reformed congregation at Newton, N. C., has been obliged 
to relinquish preaching and reign his pastorate, on account of an affection of the throat.  
Rev. Mr. Wehler, on a former occasion was obliged to give up preaching on account of his 
throat.  He has purchased the Mooreville Enterprise, a newspaper published at Mooreville, N. 
C., which he will conduct.  We wish our friend Charles abundant success in his new occupation – 
New Oxford Item.
