Paul Winebrenner, of Carlisle Street, treasurer of the Hanover Saving Fund Society, who has been sick for the past several days was removed to the Hahnemann Hospital, Philadelphia, Wednesday evening by his physician, Dr. M. M. Fleagle. Mr. Winebrenner, accompanied by members of his family, was taken to York in the their automobile about 7 o’clock, the remainder of the journey being made by train. He is suffering from an obstruction of the bowels which may make an operation necessary. It was learned this morning at 9 o’clock that Mr. Winebrenner’s condition shows no improvement. After an examination, an operation at this time was not deemed expedient. Mrs. Winebrenner and daughter, Miss Katherine Winebrenner, are at his bedside. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, June 24, 1916
