Anderson, died at Lisburn, March 23, 1916, aged 76 years, 1 month and 6 days. He was married Jan. 25, 1866 to Miss Mary A. Boak, who survives him. The following children survive, Ira Anderson, Bowmansdale, Mrs. Jennie Gher, Harry and Edith Anderson, of Lisburn. He is also survived by two brothers, George, of Harrisburg and William, of Kansas and by three sisters, Mrs. Caroline Billet, of Lisburn, Mrs. Jan Hoff, New Cumberland and Mrs. Emma Shaffer, Kansas. Mr. Anderson was a great sufferer for a number of years, having had a stroke in 1905 when his life was despaired of but he rallied and was able to be about for several years. He was a faithful and consistent member of the Church of God at Andersontown 52 years. He had many friends. Funeral services were held Monday, March 27th, at Andersontown and were conducted by his pastor, Rev. F.W. McGuire and Rev. C. H. Heiges, a former pastor, now of Enhaut.
