HOWARD LAFAYETTE ARCHER
Stewartstown, April 15 - Howard Lafayette Archer, Hopewell township, died 
today at 4:30 p.m. after a sickness of ten days from pneumonia, aged 57 years, 
5 months and 6 days.  His wife is confined in bed, in a critical condition, 
having been severely scalded on her side, in an accident at her home a few 
days ago. Surviving Mr. Archer besides his wife are one daughter, Mrs. Mary 
Reachard, East Hopewell township; one son, McKinley Archer, near Gatchelville; 
three brothers, John, Charles and William Hopewell township.  The funeral will 
be held on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. After short services at the house the 
funeral party will proceed to the West Liberty church, where concluding 
services will be held and interment made.
