He was aged 90 years, 3 months and 29 days. Since the death of his wife he had been living with his daughter, Mrs. Joseph Grimm, near Abbottstown. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Joseph Grimm, and two sons, Daniel, of near Menges’ Mills, and Charles, of Millersville, Lancaster county. Funeral from his late home on Thursday morning at 9 o’clock, burial being made in the Lutheran cemetery at Abbottstown, Rev. F. S. Sternat officiating. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, October 5, 1912
