Death Of Mrs. Carl Ayres
Mrs. Leah E. Ayers, wife of Dr. Carl Ayers, died at her home in Cleveland, 
Ohio, on Wednesday Oct. 30. She had been suffering from the effects of a 
paralytic stroke. She was the daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Albert Mitzel, 
of Stony Brook, and is survived by her husband, and three sisters: Mrs. 
Ambrose Slenker, York RD 2: Mrs. Ida Mitzel, Harrisburg; and Mrs. Samuel B. 
Spangler, Dover RD2. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Ayers was a 
resident of this vicinity for a number of years.
