BAILEY, husband of Mrs. Amanda BAILEY, 30 Henrietta street, this place, died this afternoon at 12:10 o’clock at the York hospital where he had been a patient for the past week. Death followed an operation performed several days ago for an internal intestinal obstruction. He was aged 63 years, 4 months, and 7 days. He leaves, besides his wife, three daughters, Miss Nora BAILEY, of York, Mrs. Samuel HEFFNER, Red Lion, and Mrs. Harry KOONTZ of Red Lion R. D. 4; five sisters, Mrs. Harry FISHEL, York; Mrs. Martha GARRETT, Glen Rock, Mrs. Maria BOOZE, Larue, Mrs. W. H. BOESSER, Shrewsbury, and Mrs. Anna BAILEY, New Haven, Connecticut, four brothers, Jacob BAILEY, New Haven, Connecticut; Edward BAILEY, Pleasureville, and Cornelius and Curtis BAILEY, both of Larue. He also leaves twelve grandchildren. The deceased was a member of the Leo Fire company of Red Lion. The body was removed from the York institution by funeral Director Furnace B. OLEWILER, local undertaker, to the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted at the residence on Wednesday morning at 9:30 o’clock. Rev. M. B. HELLAND, pastor to the United Brethren church and Rev. E. C. BASOM, of the Evangelical church will officiate. Interment will take place in the Red Lion cemetery. Additional Comments: Birth est. 1863.
