Mrs. George G. Bair

Mrs. Barbara M. Bair, widow of the late George G. Bair, died Thursday afternoon, 
February 14th, at 1:10 o’clock, at her home, No. 297 Carlisle street, following a 
week’s illness from pneumonia.  She was aged 69 years, 7 months and 6 days.

The deceased was a daughter of the late Jacob and Susanna (Mause) Miller and was 
born in Penn township, near New Baltimore.

About 40 years ago, she was married to Mr. Bair who died February 7th, 1915.

One daughter Mrs. Emma Heathcote, wife of Rev. Charles W. Heathcote, of 
Philadelphia survives, with two grandchildren, Eve Barbara and Charles William 
Heathcote, Jr.  Also the following brothers and sisters survive:  Christian 
Miller of Gitt’s Run; Mrs. Samuel Forry, of Abbottstown street; Mrs. John 
Hershey, of Menges Mills; Ezra Miller, of New Baltimore, Jacob and Levi Miller, 
of Sell’s Station; Mrs. Henry Forry of Abbottstown street, and Mrs. Anna Fox, of 
York.

The deceased was a life long member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran church.

Funeral Sunday Feb. 20, services at the house at 2 p.m., Rev. A. M. Heilman 
officiating, assisted by Rev. Dr. M. Coover, of the Theological Seminary, 
Gettysburg.

Interment will be made on the family lot in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
