Benjamin Barley

R. F. Barley, of Gitt’s Run, received a telegram May 25th informing him of the 
death of his brother, Benjamin Barley, at Salem, Ohio.

The deceased is survived by his wife and five children, also by three brothers 
and three sisters:  William, Reuben F., and Joshua and Mrs. Eliza Border, Mrs. 
Angeline Gerver and Mrs. Leah Heindel, all of York County.

Mr. Barley was a son of Wm. And Eliza Barley, of Codorus Township, York County, 
and was aged about 60 years.

He removed to the west about 30 years ago and since has resided in various 
sections of the west and south.  Of late years he was permanently located at 
Salem, Ohio.
