Barnes, a veteran of the Civil War, passed away to the last roll call, aged 78 years, 4 months and 20 days. Mr. Barnes had been a life-long resident of Warrington Township, and moved to Lewisberry last October. For many years he drove stage from Wellsville to York, and was widely known. He is survived by a widow, his second wife and two sons, C. F. and O. H. Barnes, both of Rossville. The funeral was held Monday morning, with services at 11 o'clock in the Rossville Lutheran Church, with interment in the Friends' Cemetery. Rev. Bartholomew of Lewisberry, and Rev. Bowersox, of Rossville, conducted the services. The honorary pall-bearers were the following members of the James B. Rickett Post, of Dillsburg, of which the deceased was a member: Geo. L. Britcher, J. A. Sollenberger, Lewis Blausser and Frederick Hershey. The active pall-bearers were Messrs. George W. Bailets, C. U. Spangler, John X. Smith, Harry Laughman, R. H.
