Death was caused by chronic nephritis. He was aged 71 years, 1 month and 6 days. He leaves his wife and the following children: Mrs. George Hildebrecht, of York; James Barnes, of Lemoyne; Mrs. Grant Stough, G. H. Barnes, Charles Barnes and Mrs. Jacob Wolf, all of Wellsville; also 21 grandchildren and one great grand-child. There also survives three sisters and one brother, Mrs. David Sollenberger and Mrs. Jacob Yost, of Dillsburg, Mrs. E. A. Wiley, of Ind., and Frank Barnes, of Dillsburg, R.D. The funeral services were held Wednesday morning, in the M. E. Church, of which he was a member, by the pastor, Rev. E. M. Aller. A large number of relatives and friends attended the services. Interment was made in the Warrington Friends' Cemetery. The deceased belonged to the two orders of Wellsville, Camp 169, P. O. S. of A., and Conclave 312, I. O. H. The pall-bearers were the following, members of these orders: Messrs. Lewis Spangler, Chas. Stough, Harvey Shaffner, Christ Smith, Charles Ross and William Morthland. C. G.
