Mrs. Curvin M. Barnhart

Annie Virginia Eckard Barnhart died yesterday at her Hanover RD 2 home.  She was 
80.  She is the wife of Curvin M. Barnhart and a daughter of the late William J. 
and Laura Kate Lippy.  A native of Carroll County, she was a member of the 
(Bachman’s) Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Westminster.  Along with her husband, she 
is survived by a son, Clair Barnhart, 103 Grandview Road, Hanover; one daughter, 
Mrs. Romaine Kemper, Hanover RD 2; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Hesson, New Oxford, 
Mrs. Wilda Wareheim, Manchester,, Md.; Mrs. Helen Bechtel, Littlestown RD2; and 
Ruth Crowl, Taneytown.  She also leaves six grandchildren.  Services will be 
held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Wetzel Funeral Home, Hanover.  Conducting the 
service will be Rev. Norman Bortner, her church’s minister, and Rev. M. Wright.  
Interment will be in Penn Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call at the funeral 
home Wednesday evening.
