Barnhart Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today for Mrs. Maggie E. Barnhart, 48, wife of Floyd A. Barnhart, Westminster R.D. 3, who died Saturday morning following a lingering illness. Rites were conducted at the Frederick Bucher funeral home, Frederick street, by her pastor, the Rev. A. M. Hollinger. Burial was in St. Bartholomew’s church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Winnemore Stewart, Malcolm Stewart, Vernon Bixler and John Little. Mrs. Floyd A. Barnhart Mrs. Maggie E. Barnhart, 48, wife of Floyd A. Barnhart, Westminster R. D. 3, died this morning at 7 o’clock following a lingering illness of twelve years. She had been bedfast the past eight weeks. Mrs. Barnhart was a daughter of Mrs. Mary Snyder and the late Bert Garvick. She was a member of the Lutheran congregation of St. Bartholomew’s church. surviving in addition to her husband and mother, are one daughter, Mrs. Mary E. Sterner, at home; one son, Lavere Stauffer, Hanover R. D. 2; three grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters; Ivan and Sterling Garvick, Westminster R. D. 3; Oscar, Herbert and Laverne Garvick, Mrs. William Stauffer and Mrs. Ruth Klinedinst, all of Hanover R. D. 2, and Mrs. Howard Kretz, Hanover. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Frederick Bucher funeral home, Frederick street. Her pastor, the Rev. A. M. Hollinger, will officiate.
