Mrs. Ruth A. Mummert Baublitz, 62, of 613 Frederick St., died Thursday evening at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. A native of Adams County, she was a daughter of the late Simpson C. and Effie F. Krenzer Mummert. Mrs. Baublitz had been president of the Auxiliary of the Friendship Fire Co, Pennville, for the past 25 years. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ and the Homewood Church Home Auxillary. Surviving are her husband, Lewis E. Baublitz; two sons and two daughters, Simpson M. Baublitz, 122 1/2 McAllister St.; Larry L. Baublitz, 7 Stuart Ave.; Mrs. Larry Sager, 506 Frederick St.; Mrs. Barry Bankert, 204 Westminster Ave.; three grandchildren; and nine brothers and sisters, Mrs. Reuel Stauffer, 404 Terrace Ave.; John H. Mummert, Moul Ave.; Howard I. Mummert, Maple Ave.; Clarence O. Mummert, Hanover RD 1; Paul J. Mummert, 1234 Baltimore St.; Mrs. George Lines, 29 Young Circle; Mrs. Calvin Miller, 40 Grandview Road; Mrs. Elva Becker, S. Franklin St., and Mrs. Donald Hahn, Hanover RD 1. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. from the Kenworthy Funeral Home, 269 Frederick St., with Rev. Carl A. Folk officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
