Mrs. Richard Bechtel

Hanover - Anna M. Bechtel, wife of Richard N. Bechtel, Hanover 2, died at her 
home Sunday at 4:30 a.m.  She was 68.  She was the daughter of the late Francis 
G. W. and Alberta Garrett Markle.  She was a member of St. David’s Lutheran 
Church and home department.  Surviving also are her children:  Cyril R. Bechtel, 
Ephrata, Pa.; Sterling R. Bechtel, York RD 6; Leroy N. Bechtel, 230 Rhoda Dr., 
York; Orvin F. Bechtel, Hanover 3; Mrs. Phyllis Graybill, Hanover 2; glen G. 
Bechtel, 400 Frederick St., Hanover; Barry A. Bechtel, Broadbecks RD1; 21 
grandchildren; brothers and sisters:  Raymond Markle, 18 W. Middle St.; Earl 
Markle, Hanover 2; Paul Markle, 972 Baltimore St.; Mrs. Irene Blettner, 705 
Frederick St.; Mrs. Edna Garrett, Hanover 2; Mrs. Robert Yingling, Hanover 2.  
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Reverend Harvey Light officiating 
at the Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle St.  Interment will be in Penn Memorial 
Garden.
