S. H. Bechtel

The funeral of Samuel H. Bechtel whose death occurred at his late home 213 
Frederick street, Wednesday evening, was held this morning.  Brief services were 
conducted from this late home at 9:30 o’clock, after which the remains were 
taken to Bair’s Meeting House York Road, where further services were held and 
interment made in the cemetery adjoining the church.

The Rev. Daniel Stump, pastor of the Mennonite church, assisted by the Rev. W. 
L. Armstrong, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church, Frederick street, 
conducted the funeral.

The pall bearers were Henry Shriver, E. K. Eichelberger, Henry and Benjamin 
Forry, Robert Craumer and Clinton Newcomer.
