Bentzel, 64, Hanover, died Thursday morning at 6:55 o'clock at the Hanover General hosptial, five minutes after having been admitted as a patient. Mr. Bentzel was stricken suddenly ill and was removed in the ambulance to the hospital. Coroner L. U. Zech, York, issued the certificate, giving a gastric hemorrhage as the cause of death. Mr. Bentzel was a son of the late David and Mary Bentzel. His wife, Mrs. Helen Riffle, preceded him in death three years ago. Surviving are two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. E. C. Springer, Emmitsburg; Mrs. Mary Hess, Harrisburg; Calvin Bentzel, Hanover, and D. E. Bentzel, Harrisburg. Funeral services Monday with services at 10 a.m. at the J. T. Kernan Funeral home, McSherrystown. The Rev. Dr. Harry Hursh Beidleman, pastor of St. Matthew's Lutheran church, will officiate. Interment in the Emmitsburg cemetery.
