Berkheimer died Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 2:30 p.m., at his home in Spring Grove, after three months sickness with valvular heart trouble. He was 54 years old. Mr. Berkheimer was taken sick on Dec. 1 and had been confined to his bed ever since. At different periods he had rallied and hopes were entertained for his recovery. The deceased had been a painter and paperhanger in that borough for many years. He took an active part in church work and served as an elder in the Mt. Zion Reformed church. Recently he was reelected a member of the Y. M. C. A. board of directors and treasurer of that association. Mr. Berkheimer was a member of Spring Grove tent, Knights of Maccabees. Surviving him are his wife and adopted son, Myron Menges. Mrs. Sarah Berkheimer, a stepmother, also survives. Funeral Friday at 10 a.m., services in Mt. Zion Reformed church, further services at Roth’s church, Jackson township. Rev. George W. Welsh officiating, assisted by Rev. Martin L. Clare, of St. David’s Lutheran church, and Rev. Frederick S.
