Touched Live Wire – Dead

Attempting to fix the electric switch in the stables at the Manchester hotel, 
York county, where he was employed as hostler, Winfield Berryman received a 
shock which caused his death.  He was about 6? Years old.  Dr. May, who was 
summoned, declared that the electric current was not powerful enough to kill a 
person unless one was suffering from heart trouble.

Coroner H. W. Shirey was notified, but did not deem an inquest necessary.  Mr. 
Berryman is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Harry Goodling, West York borough.
