All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/york/ _______________________________________________ Urias Brockley Urias Brockley, of the Colonial hotel, this place, died at the York City hospital on Tuesday between 3 and 4 a.m. at the age of about 60 years. Mr. Brockley had been suffering from a complication of diseases for some time, and last Saturday was taken to the York hospital for treatment. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Brockley, of Hanover, and is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Jennie Pierpont, of York. He is also survived by three brothers and three sisters: John Brockley, of Littlestown; Mrs. J. L. Noel, of Waynesboro; Lewis P. and Joseph Brockley, Mrs. H. O. Dellone and Mrs. Savilla Lippy, of Hanover. The remains were brought to the home of his brother, Lewis P. Brockley, on Baltimore street, on Wednesday. Funeral held from St. Joseph’s church, Thursday, requiem high mass at 10 a.m., Rev. James A. Huber officiating. Interment in Mt. Olivet cemetery. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, June 7, 1913
