He was stricken with paralysis on the morning of the 22d. while walking to his farm half a mile away, and fell in the road. He was found shortly thereafter and taken to his home, but he failed to revive. A wife and six children survive him: Chas. T. in California, Edward in Chicago, Edith McELVANE, wife of John McELVANE, William E. near Fawn Grove, and Etta and Harry who reside a home. The funeral was very large testifying the high esteem in which he was held. Darlington HOOPES, J. J. STARR and T. H. WRIGHT spoke at some length at the funeral. The pallbearers were Jason D.
