Mr. BROWN was a charter member of the Fawn Grove Band, organized in 1900, and was the first member of the organization to died in the 31 years of its existence. For many years he served as snare drummer. Three of his sons are also members of the band. Besides the local band, Mr. BROWN was interested in other matters, being a member of the Fawn Grove Grange and the Knights of Pythias. Surfing are his widow, Mrs. Jennie TROUT BROWN, and five children; E. Glenn BROWN and Howard BROWN of Fawn Grove; Reynold BROWN and Mrs. John MARSTELLAR, Red Lion; Harvey BROWN, York. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, in the Methodist Protestant Church, conducted by the Rev Karl Wareheim. The pallbearers were: Charles TROUT, William RICHARDSON, Clayton MERRYMAN, J.M. STRITEHOFF, George T. JONES and Milton J. HERBERT. Interment was in the Friends Cemetery.
