York, May 27. - Sebastian Bruggeman, who was picked up Friday night in an unconscious condition south of Penn Park, died at his home Saturday morning. He never regained consciousness. Bruggeman's death according to the testimony before the coroner and jury, was caused by opium poisoning. He was a man of powerful physique and a bricklayer by trade. He was formerly addicted to drink, but has been quite steady recently. On Friday he was loaded with morphine, it is said, and the reaction after he had given up the habit for a time, proved deadly to him. Bruggeman is survived by his wife and 4 children, and was 41 years old. The persons who furnished him with the "dope" are to be hunted down and punished. New Oxford Item, New Oxford, PA, May 30, 1907
