Bushey died at her home, No. 816 West Poplar street, York, Sunday, June 25, at the age of 94 years, 10 months and 12 days. Death was due to infirmities. The deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Wortz, who lived in Conowago township, Adams county, near McSherrystown. She was identified with St. Matthew’s Lutheran church, this place, for a period of 50 years, having joined that congregation in her youth. She was married twice, her first husband being John Aulsbaugh, who died during the latter part of 1858, and in 1862 she was married to Michael Bushey, who passed away during 1888. About 12 years ago Mrs. Bushey left Midway to make her home with her son, J. W. Bushey, and Mrs. Daniel Seitz, a granddaughter, in York. She is survived by two sons, Josiah Aulabaugh, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and J. W. Bushey, of York; also, one sister, Mrs. Dr. David Diller, of York Springs, Adams county, and a brother, George W. Wortz, of Hanover, Mrs. Louisa Forney, of Baltimore street, is a cousin of the deceased. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, June 21, 1913
