Mrs. Maria Carns, wife of Nicholas Carns, of Pleasant Hill, died suddenly Thursday morning, 
January 23d, from a stroke of apoplexy.  She was aged about 74 years.

The deceased is survived by her husband and a number of nephews and nieces.

Funeral Saturday, January 25, brief services at her late home at 9 a.m., further services and 
interment at St. David’s (Sherman’s) church, West Manheim township, Rev. Dr. D. B. Lau 
officiating.
