All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/york/ _______________________________________________ CHRONISTER Luther Rentzell Chronister, son of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Chronister, of Wellsville, died at the family home at 3:30 Thursday morning, aged 24 years, 4 months and 5 days. Mr. Chronister had been ill for a year or more, with tuberculosis. The deceased was an industrious and popular young man and until he became ill was employed by the W. D. Brougher Net Company. The funeral will be held Monday morning, with services at the house at 10 o'clock and interment at the Warrington Friends' Cemetery. Rev. E. M. Aller, of the M. E. Church, and Rev. Miller, of the Evangelical church will conduct the services. Charles G. Elicker is the Funeral Director. Dillsburg Weekly Bulletin, February 16, 1916 CHRONISTER The funeral of Luther R. Chronister was held at his late home in Wellsville, Monday morning and was very largely attended. The following Ministers took part in the services, Rev. Miller, of the Evangelical Church, Rev. Aller, of the M. E. Church and Rev. Bowersox, of the Lutheran Church. Interment in the Friends' Cemetery. Chas. G. Elicker was the Funeral Director and the pall-bearers were M. C. Chronister, C. W. Cook, of Dillsburg, Willis Bushey, Wrightsville, Prof. Craumer, Farmrs, Clarence Brougher, and Earl J. Gerber, of Wellsville. The floral tributes were numerous and beautiful and indicated the esteem in which the young man was held. The factory of the W. D. Brougher Net Co., was closed during the services and the employees attended the funeral. Music was furnished by a choir composed of Mrs. W. D. Brougher, Mrs. Jesse ---------, Miss Jones, Prof. J.
