Colgan Following an illness of two years from a complication of diseases, Mrs. Annie Mary Colgan, wife of Clement C. Colgan, died at her late home, No. 414 Broadway, Monday afternoon at 3 o’clock, aged 46 years, 10 months and 27 days. Although in ill health for two years, her condition was not of a serious nature until the last two weeks. Mrs. Colgan was a daughter of the late Lewis L. and Anna Catharine (Kale) Renaut, and was born in Dayton, Ohio, June 25, 1869. When a child she moved with her parents to Hanover, where the remainder of her life was spent. Mrs. Colgan was a devout member of St. Joseph’s Catholic church, Baltimore street, and was a member of the church choir since a young girl. She also sang on many occasions in St. Vincent’s church, Midway. The deceased leaves her husband, to whom she was married in 1894, and the following brothers and sisters: Harry Renaut, Camden, N. J.; Edward Renaut, Philadelphia; Mrs. James Green, of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Charles Turnblaser of Youngstown, Ohio; Miss Helen Renaut, a nurse at Bensonhurst sanatorium, Bensonhurst-by-the-Sea, N. Y.; William and Frank Renaut, at home. Funeral, Thursday, May 25, requiem high mass in St. Joseph’s church at 9 a.m., Very Rev. James A. Huber, the rector, officiating.
