April 24 - A heart attack, suffered as he was preparing to retire, proved fatal to Oliver H. CRAMER at 10 o'clock this evening at the home of is son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. John SHAFFER near here. He was 83 years old. Coroner L. U. Zech was notified and will issue the death certificate tomorrow (Monday). Mr. CRAMER had been suffering from a heart condition for some time, although he had been able to be about. Today he and the rest of the family had entertained some guests. Shortly after they left this evening he began preparations to retire when he was suddenly stricken. Dr. W. P. McKnight, Glenville, was summoned to the home, but death occurred before he arrived. Mr. and Mrs. CRAMER had been making their home with the son-in-law and daughter for the past two years. Previously they resided in Glen Rock where Mr. CRAMER conducted a grocery and burcher business. He was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Stone church, the Glen Rock Hose and ladder company and the Fireman's Relief association. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary KREBS CRAMER; the daughter with whom he resided a foster son Levi W. BUBB, Baltimore and two sisters, Mrs. Amelia DIETZ, York and Mrs. Rebecca ROHRBAUGH, Millers, Md. THe funeral will be held Wednesday with brief services at the Shaffer home at 1:30 p.m. and further services at Stone church. Rev K. S. Ehrhart, Lutheran pastor will officiate. Interment will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church. Fueral Director G. W. Geiple and Son, Glen Rock have charge of arrangements. April 28 - Many relatives and friends on Wednesday attended the funeral of Oliver H. CRAMER aged resident who died suddenly Sunday evening at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John SHAFFER, hear here. After brief services at the Shaffer home at 1:30 p.m. concluding obsequies were held in the Stone church. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery. Rev Kenneth S. Ebhart, pastor of the Jererson Lutheran charge officiated. The pallbearers were John, George, Walter, Leo and Clarence CRAMER and Rosswell ROHRBAUGH, nephews of the deceased.
