CRAUMER, Who Also Worked in City Treasure's Office, Dies at 85 FUNERAL SATURDAY Elias S. CRAUMER, 631 South Duke Street, a former member of the common council under the old form of city government and who for 16 years was connected with the city treasury office died yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter E. Grimm. He was 85 years of age. The former city official who was sick for a prolonged period of time was the husband of the late Mary E. CRAUMER, and was a son of the late Rev William H. CRAUMER and Catherine (STERNER) CRAUMER The deceased was born near Jefferson. He was in the city treasury office during the term of Lewis C. Elliott, Ralph Mitzell and William H. Reynolds. Mr CRAUMER was a life long member of the First United Brethren church and of the Men's Bible class. HE also held membership in the Sandilands commandery No 152, A. And I.O. Knights of Malta. Surviving are the following children: Charles E. CRAUMER, Wyomissing, PA; Mrs. Gertrude PRESTON, 929 West Market Street, and Mrs. Walter E. Grimm, 621 South Duke street and Mrs. Emerson KAUFMANN, Germantown. There are also three great grandchildren surviving. Also the following brothers and sisters survive: William H.F. CRAUMER, 214 West Jackson Street; Mrs. Maggie SMITH, 533 West Princess Street and Mrs. William T. LEUMASTER, 626 West Philadelphia Street. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday at the First United Brethren church, corner Newberry and Philadelphia Streets, with the pastor Rev Paul E. V. Shannon officiating.
