FRANK CRAUMER DIES DOWN EAST ------- RETIRED PROPRIETOR OF HONEYTOWN MILL PASSES AWAY AT HARTFORD, CONN. ------- INTERMENT AT STELTZ'S Seven Valleys, Sept 22 - J. Frank CRAUMER, retired miller, and a resident of this vicinity for many years, died at 8 o'clock this morning at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Preston CRAUMER, Hartford, Conn., with whom he had been making his home. He was 73 years of age. Death was due to a dropsical and heart condition, and occurred rather suddenly. When he was a boy, Mr. CRAUMER lived in the vicinity of New Market and Beckleysville, Md. He was accomplished on the corntet and was a leader of the Star band of Beckleysville. Later he moved to Baltimore, where he was a conductor on a horse-drawn street car. With the advent of the electric railways, be became a conductor on the modery type. For the last 24 years he established his home at Honeytown Mill, near Glen Rock. He made sale of his property in March and moved to his son's home in Connecticut. He is survived by his wife, Susan Catherine CRAUMER; two sons, Walter CRAUMER, 330 West King street, York and Preston CRAUMER, Hartford. A brother, William CRAUMER, Cockeysville, Md., also survives. The wife and son will accompany the body, arriving at this place Tuesday evening. The body will be taken to the establishment of C. O. Goodling, local funeral director, who is charge of the arrangements. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon, at 2:30 o'clock at Steltz's church. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery. Rev Mervin Smith, pastor of New Freedom Lutheran charge, will officiate, assisted by Rev. W. H. Ehrhart, pastor of the Jefferson Lutheran charge. Frank CRAUMER, a former resident of near Glen Rock, who died on Sunday at 3 AM at the home of his son and daughter in law, Mr. And Mrs. Preston CRAUMER, Hartford Connecticut, was held today. Brief services were held at the home of his nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. C. O. GOODLING at 1:15 PM. Concluding services were held at 2:30 PM in Bethlehem Union Church at Stiltz, with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Mervin E. Smith, pastor of the New Freedom Lutheran charge, officiated, being assisted by the Rev. W. H. Ehrhart, pastor of the Jefferson Lutheran charge. Many relatives and friend antended to services. Mrs. CRAUMER and son, Preston, accompanied the body here.
