RACHEL CRAUMER Mrs. Rachel CRAUMER, eight-six years old, a former resident of Shrewsbury, died about 3:30 o'clock yesterday morning at the residence of her son J. R. CRAUMER, 502 Walnut Street. It was thought at first that the death of the aged woman was hastened by inhaling illuminating gas from a leaking main which filled a number of residences in the Walnut street neighborhood. Drs. H. H. Jones and Charles H. Venus, who were summoned to her bedside, pronounced death to be due to natural causes. Mrs. CRAUMER had been confined to bed during the past several months by infirmities of advanced age. She leaves the following children: J. T. CRAUMER and Mrs. W. H. HALE, this city and James and Alice CRAUMER, who reside near Shrewsbury. She is also survived by one brother and one sister Eli CRAUMER and Miss Lizzie CRAUMER, residing near Glen Rock. Mrs. CRAUMER was a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church, Shrewsbury. She accompanied her son and his family to this city when they came here from Shrewsbury several months ago.
