WILLIAM CRAUMER SUCCUMBS AT 72

William H. F. CRAUMER, husband of Mrs. A. Gertrude CRAUMER, of 214 West Jackson 
street, died yesterday at 11:30 a.m. at York hospital. He was 74.

Surviving besides his widow are two sons, William CRAUMER, Johnstown, Pa., and 
H. L. CRAUMER, Hicksville N.Y.; two grandchildren;two sisters, Mrs. Maggie K. 
SMITH and Mrs. Alice LAUMASTER, both of York, and several nieces and nephews.

He was a live member of Vigilant Fire company and the Fireman's Relief 
association. He was affiliated with the Home department of Zion Reformed Sunday 
school, York Lodge 266, F and AM; Howell Royal Arch chapter 199, York commandery 
21 Knights Templar; York Council 21, Royal and Select Masters; Harrisburg 
consistory; York Conclave 21, Knights of the Red Cross of Constantine; York 
Forrest 30 Tall Cedars of Lebanon; Sandilands Commandery 152, AIO Knights of 
Malta and York Council 505, Jr. QUAM. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 
p.m. from Purd A. Riedal Funeral Home, Dallastown, Rev. Arthur Grove, pastor of 
Zion Reformed church will officiate. Interment will be in Greenmount cemetery.

CRAUMER - On March 4, 1949, at 11:50 a.m. at York hospital, William H.F. 
CRAUMER, husband of Mrs. A. Gertrude CRAUMER, 214 West Jacksonstreet, aged 74 
years and 15 days. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral 
services at the Purd A. Riedal Funeral home, Dallastown on Monday. March 7 at 2 
p.m. Interment in Greenmount cemetery. Friends may call at the Riedal Funeral 
home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
