DAVIS

Mrs. Ella E. (Beetem) Davis, wife of Amos Davis, died at her home near Latimore, 
Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock from dropsy, aged 55 years, 9 months and 1 day.

Mrs. Davis leaves her husband and the following children: Mrs. Milton Prosser 
and Mrs. George Kinter, Latimore township; Mrs. Reynolds Bowers, of near York 
Springs; Harry Davis, Dillsburg, and Roy Davis, at home.  She also leaves her 
mother, two brothers, Walter Beetem, Boiling Springs, Harry Beetem, Rock Island, 
Illis., and a sister, Mrs. George Fahnstock, Boiling Springs.  Seven 
grandchildren are living.

Funeral was held on Tuesday morning, meeting at the house at ten o’clock.  
Services and interment at Chestnut Grove Church, Rev. Paul Gladfelter and Rev. 
W. G. Group, officiating. –York Springs Comet.
