Amanda Decker
     Mrs. Amanda Decker, 165 East Cottage place, died at 6:40 o'clock last 
evening at the York hospital from a complication of diseases. She was admitted 
to the institution on Sunday, last. She was sixty-four years old.
     The deceased is survived by her husband, George W. Decker; the following 
children, Mrs. Edward Gerberick and Mrs. Mervin Gentsler, both of York; Spencer 
Decker, Norristown; William H. Decker, Philadelphia; George W. Decker, Jr., 
Atlantic City; nine grandchildren; one brother, William Sprenkle, Logansville, 
and four sisters, Mrs. Emma Goodling, Loganville; Mrs. Mary Yost, Mrs. Ella 
Williams, both of York; and Mrs. Ida Faust, Red Lion.
     The funeral will be held on Saturday, with services at her late residence 
at 2 p.m. Rev. Dr. Earl S. Rudisill, pastor of St. Luke's Lutheran church, will 
officiate. Interment will be made in the Lutheran cemetery at Loganville.

Amanda was the daughter of William Sprenkel & Lydia.
