DUTERY

John Dutery, Sr., one of Carroll township’s oldest and most highly respected 
residents, died Tuesday at 7 p.m., after an illness of several weeks, aged 88 
years, 11 months and 14 days.  For many years he conducted a saw and feed mill 
at Uno and was widely known.  In 1859 he was united in marriage to Miss Ellen 
Nagle, who, with the following children, survive:  Jacob N., John and Mrs. Boyd 
Yost, of Uno, and Geo. Dutery, of Harrisburg.  Mr. Dutrey (sic) was a faithful 
member of the Church of the Brethren.

The funeral will be held Saturday morning, meeting at the house at 10 o’clock, 
with interment at Wolgamuth.  Rev. Charles Atland and Rev. Harry Hollinger will 
conduct the services.
