All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/york/ _______________________________________________ EICHELBERGER Mrs. Elizabeth Eichelberger, widow of the late John EICHELBERGER, died Monday night at 11:15, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. W. Arnold, on Gettysburg Street, aged 81 years and 9 months. While Mrs. Eichelberger had been suffering with rheumatism for a number of years, she was ill but a few days in her last illness, which was caused by a stroke. The Eichelbergers were former residents of Monaghan township. The deceased is survived by a son, Jacob Eichelberger, of York, four daughters, Mrs. John Starry, of Locust Point, Mrs. L. W. Arnold and Mrs. Rebecca Hollinger, of Dillsburg and Mrs. Nannie Haar, of near Rose Garden, also fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The funeral was held Thursday morning, meeting at the house at 10 o'clock, with further services and interment at Fileys. Rev. G. H. Eveler, of the Dillsburg Lutheran Church and Rev. H. G. Bowersox, of Rossville, conducted the services. J. S. Dapp, Wm. Deardorff, John Bushey and John Myers were the pallbearers. S. H. Klugh was the Funeral Director.
