The funeral of Mrs. Alice Mary FISHEL, widow of George FISHEL, who died Tuesday evening following an illness of more than a year, was held this afternoon at 1:30 o’clock. Services were conducted at the home of her son and daughter-in- law, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore FISHEL, 118 West Gay street, with whom she resided. Rev. Dr. M. R. FLEMMING, pastor of Bethany United Brethren church, of which the deceased was a member, was the officiating clergyman. The services were attended by a large number of relatives and friends. There were a large number of floral tributes. The pallbearers were Howard FISHEL, William TARBET, Alfred SMELTZER, William WILSON, Dewer REXROTH, and Clarence STILES. Burial was made in the Red Lion cemetery. Additional Comment: When contacting contributor, please indicate p. 10 Another Obit: Newspaper Unknown Handwritten “6-25-1930” on obit Mrs. Alice Mary FISHEL, widow of George FISHEL, died this afternoon at 5:30 o’clock at the home of son and daughter-in-law, Mrs. and Mrs. Theodore FISHEL, 133 Gay street. Death followed an illness of more than a year and was superinduced by several strokes. The deceased was aged 64 years and 20 days. The survivors are four children, Charles FISHEL, Mrs. Claude BOWERS, Theodore with whom she resided and Harry FISHEL all of Red Lion, three grandchildren, Mrs. Elwood KING and George and Mildred BOWERS, also of this place, a brother Theodore AKINS, Felton, and a sister Mrs. John REXROTH, York. The funeral will be held Friday, with services from the late home a 1:30 o’clock. Rev. Dr. M. R. FLEMING, pastor of the Bethany United Brethren church of which the deceased was member, will officiate. The body will be interred in the Red Lion cemetery.
