Stewartstown, June 3 – Mrs. Anna E. FISHEL, widow of Edward J. FISHEL, a 
resident of this place, died at 6:45 o’clock this evening at the West Side 
sanitarium, West York, where she had been a patient since last Thursday. Death 
resulted from a complication of diseases She was aged 49 years, ten months and 
15 days. Mrs. FISHEL’S husband died in 1928. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. 
Lorene KITZMILLER, this place: a grandson, Rodney KITZMILLER, and her father, E. 
Grant KOHLER this place, with whom Mrs. FISHEL resided. The body was removed to 
the funeral home of Paul N. Hartenstein, New Freedom, to be prepared for burial. 
It will be taken to the father’s home Thursday afternoon, from where the funeral 
will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock. Rev. Carl SIMON, pastor of 
Union Lutheran church, York, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. S. Benjamin 
SHAW, pastor of the Hopewell Presbyterian church. Interment will be made in the 
Stewartstown cemetery.
