Handwritten “1946” on obit


Seven Valleys – Oct. 22 – Curtis F. FISHEL, a farmer and life-long resident of 
this vicinity died at 11:45 a. m. yesterday at his home in Springfield township 
near here. He had been in ill health the past 5 years. He was 76 years old. A 
member of St. Peter’s Reformed church, Mr. FISHEL leaves his wife Minnie 
GLADFELTER FISHEL; a sister Mrs. Lillie LEHMAN, York, and a granddaughter, Mrs. 
Valeria GROFF, Hagerstown, Md.  Funeral serviced will be conducted Thursday at 2 
p. m. from the Goodling Funeral home, this place. The Rev. M. L. KROH, pastor of 
the Seven Valleys Lutheran charge will officiate. Interment will be in Mr. 
Prospect cemetery here.


Another obit: Pallbearers were Henry STOUGH, Joseph MUMMERT, Harvey GLADFELTER, 
Harry BRICKER, Roy GILBERT, Melvin BRICKER.
