Stewartstown, Jan 3. Edward J. FISHEL, a resident of this place, died in the 
York hospital this evening at 6:40 o’clock. While he had been ailing for some 
time, his condition did not become serious until last week. He was admitted to 
the hospital of Sunday, and underwent an operation for gallstones. His age was 
49 years, eight months and one day. Mr. FISHEL was an employee of the 
Stewartstown Furniture factory. He is survived by his widow, Anna; a daughter, 
Lorene, at home; his father Joseph T. FISHEL, of this place; five brothers, 
Howard, D. Matthew, and J. Ralph FISHEL, all of Stewartstown, R. D; James T. 
FISHEL, Soldier’s Home, Hampton, Va., and Oram, Hagerstown, Md.; and one sister, 
Mrs. James MILLER, 208 South Duke street, York.


Another obit: On Tuesday, January 3, 1928. at the York hospital, Edward J., 
beloved husband of Anna E. FISHEL. Relatives and friends are invited to attend 
the funeral services at his late residence, Stewartstown, Pa., Saturday at 2 p. 
m.  Interment in Stewartstown cemetery.
