HENRY FISHEL DIES IN NEW YORK Former York Haven Resident Succumbs From Cancer At Long Island Home UNDERWENT OPERATION York Haven, Nov 30 - John S. FISHEL, local justice of the peace received word this evening by long distant telephone that his sister-in-law, Mrs. Henry FISHEL, formerly of this place, died this morning at her home in Long Island, NY. Mrs. Fishel, who is know to most local persons was admitted to a hospital in the Metropolitan district Saturday morning, where she underwent an operation, the results of which disclosed cancer. She succumbed at her home early this morning. Funeral services will be held Saturday from the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mrs. and Mrs. Cornelius FISHEL, at Coatesville, Pa., to which place her body will be taken for interment. Newspaper Unknown, Handwritten Date of 12-5-1927 FORMER RESIDENT BURIED John S. FISHEL, local justice of the peace accompanied by his niece and nephew, Mrs. J. L. SHAFFNER and son, George, Highspire, and by Mrs. Fannie KRAFFT, motored Saturday to Coatesville where they attended the funeral services of Mr. Fishel's, sister -in -law, Mrs. Henry FISHEL who was buried Saturday from the home of her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius FISHEL, there. The deceased who was formerly of this place died suddenly Thursday at her Long Island, NY home. Her body was taken to Coatesville for interment besides that of her husband, Henry S. FISHEL, who preceded his wife in death by three months and 20 days. Mrs. Fishel was in her 65th year.
