James W. FISHEL died yesterday morning at 9 o’clock at his home, 46 _orth Lehman 
street, of heart trouble after an illness of about two weeks. He was 72 years 
old. Mr. FISHEL leaves his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Howard JACOBS, 528 East 
Philadelphia street, Mrs. Guy _OST, 601 East York street, and Mrs. George BAUM, 
144 Charles avenue, 10 grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Margaret FREY, Erie, and 
three brothers, Jacob FISHEL, Wrightsville; Cornelius FISHEL, this city, and 
Calvin FISHEL, near Philadelphia. He was a member of the Fourth United Brethren 
church, Market and Lehman street, and of Makusu tribe No. 13, Improved Order of 
Red Men. Funeral services will be conducted at the late home at 2 o’clock Monday 
afternoon. Interment will take place in Prospect Hill cemetery.
